Foam Roofing

Polyurethane foam roofing is the best solution for most commercial and industrial roofing applications. In most cases a tear-off of the existing roofing material is not necessary- saving money and the environment.

The roof is cleaned, the existing roof is cut down to substrate in specific locations, polyurethane foam is spray-applied, and the system is topped off with a highly reflective, elastic white coating. Roofing granules may be applied to this topcoat to increase its durability. Renaissance, Inc. roofing division uses only energy star, cool roof certified products.

Energy saving polyurethane foam insulation is the best insulation money can buy, saving lots of money from the utility bill. The cool roof coating reflects most of the sun's energy before it even hits the foam insulation.

A finished application of urethane foam weighs about 50 pounds per 100 square feet, compared to 800 pounds for built-up roofing, or up to 2,000 pounds for single-ply roofing.

LESS CRACKING
Urethane foam reduces the possibility of cracking caused by thermal expansion and contraction.

SEAMLESS
The foam application is essentially seamless, without the likelihood of seams splitting as occurs in BUR and single ply roofing. It easily conforms to nearly any surface or shape, creating a single insulating, waterproof blanket for your building.

NO LEAKING THROUGH THE FOAM
Should damage occur to the protective coating, water doesn’t migrate through the closed cell foam. Any damage is quickly and economically repaired.

With urethane foam, no expensive and inconvenient tear-off of existing roofing is normally needed.
