Will your roof system help keep my building cooler in summer?
Yes, by coating the entire roof surface bright white, it can reduce indoor temperatures by up to 15 degrees F. For even greater insulating value check out our spray polyurethane foam page.

Will this roof system help preserve my roof?
Yes, by protecting the metal components, and treating existing rust, we effectively inhibit any continuing degradation from the outside environment. The white coating also greatly reduces the daily expansion and contraction cycle, thus lessening the mechanical strain on the roof.

Does Renaissance install metal roofs?
No, we waterproof and protect existing metal roofs. We will replace badly rusted panels as needed, while performing the waterproofing.

Do I need to shut down while the waterproofing work is ongoing?
No, other than some water leaking in during the washing process, there is virtually no conflict with your operation.

How long will my new roof last?
We issue a 10 year non-pro rated, leak free warranty with each metal roof waterproofing and restoration system we install, we have existing roofs that are older than 10 years with no problems reported.

How much weight does your system add to my roof?
Almost nothing, actually around 0.07 LBS / sq. ft.

What about my skylights?
We have 3 options available: (1) replace with like kind skylights, if available (2) restore existing skylights in some cases or (3) for much greater light availability, we can install curbed, prismatic skylights.
